Facilities Technician (Maintenance/Industrial)

Qualifications

• A vocational degree or technical school is required, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will enable successful performance of job expectations.
• 5+ years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with OSHA Health and Safety rules and regulations.
• Experience with industrial plant electrical wiring and code requirements, troubleshooting, machine mechanical and electrical operation.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Forklift Certification or other mobile equipment such as scissor lifts and jenny booms are preferred.
• Physical demands: frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally assist with dual lifts of up to 150 pounds with another employee; commonly lift/carry 20-50 pounds; frequent standing, walking, handling, pulling/pushing, reaching; occasional bending, twisting, sitting, stooping, and climbing stairs/ladders; vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment.
• Work environment: occasional exposure to heat, cold, humidity and dust; frequent work on or around moving equipment; low to moderate noise level; frequent work with deadlines under pressure; occasional solo work.
• Authorized to work in: US.
