Mechanical Assembly Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform all required tasks in accordance with established Company Policies, Procedures, and Safe Work Practices, remaining committed to safety
• Set up and operate machinery used in the manufacturing of flexible pipes
• Perform mechanical assembly operations as part of the equipment setup process
• Conduct basic routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and quality standards
• Complete required documentation records in accordance with procedures
• Document and report any issues or discrepancies in equipment setup, production, quality, maintenance, and other areas encountered

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly or a related field is preferred
• 0-5 years of relevant experience or related field
• Candidates must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Proven experience in mechanical assembly and equipment operation
• Welding and NDT experience preferred
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and assembly techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of mechanics, metal forming, and/or extrusion equipment and processes is preferred
