About the Role
Account Manager for Halliburton's Landmark Software & Services, based in the UK, responsible for growing existing customer accounts and identifying new opportunities within the upstream Oil & Gas sector. You will work closely with customers to demonstrate how Landmark's software and AI-enabled solutions improve their performance, efficiency, and decision-making. The role requires a strong commercial mindset, a proactive approach, and a "hunter" mentality to generate new business and expand market presence.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of upstream Oil & Gas customer accounts.
- Develop strategic relationships with technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
- Drive software renewals, upsell, and cross-sell activities.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities.
- Develop account plans and execute strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Understand customer business objectives and align software solutions to their needs.
- Collaborate with technical sales, customer success, product, and marketing teams.
- Stay current on industry trends, digital transformation initiatives, and AI developments impacting the energy sector.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry conferences, and networking events.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Account Management, Sales, Business Development, or Customer Success.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Desired: Experience selling enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, digital solutions, or technology services.
- Desired: Knowledge of the upstream Oil & Gas industry, including exploration, development, drilling, production, or subsurface workflows.
- Desired: Understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its business applications within the energy industry.
- Desired: Experience identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Desired: Ability to engage with both technical and business decision-makers.
- Desired: Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar systems.
- Minimum qualifications may be acquired through technical schools or equivalent related experience.
