Manufacturing Engineer - Transducer

Responsibilities

• Support the initial design, assembly and testing of prototype transducers for custom inspection tools, then successfully transfer them into production.
• Apply engineering skills and knowledge to develop new and improved production procedures, practices, and documentation.
• Make safety a top priority at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or other Engineering discipline.
• Proven knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology, including the design and production of NDT UT transducers.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, schematics, drawings and models.
• Ability to take the initiative and be hands-on; capability of training and auditing the work of others.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate-level computer skills in MS Office products; CAD software experience such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks is a plus.
• Working conditions are normal for a production environment and include exposure to a shop environment involving lifting of material and/or products up to 30 pounds; may require some travel.
• This position requires current work authorization in the country of employment; the employer is unable to provide or continue work authorization sponsorship for this role.
