About the Role
Eni is seeking an Expert Oilfield Product Management to join Versalis Oilfield Solutions in San Donato Milanese. The Oilfield Product Management team scouts new suppliers, contracts them with support from internal functions, orders chemical products and ships them to the port/airport nearest the field of use, managing the associated documentation package (safety data sheets, purchase and sale specifications, bills of lading, packing lists) through to correct invoicing. Some activities are performed during tender participation. (Posting is in Italian.)
Responsibilities
- Program the production of relevant products at third parties, acquiring a product availability plan.
- Develop, manage and plan the purchase of strategic products from third parties (purchase for resale) and/or transfers from other company units needed to supply existing or spot contracts.
- Qualify suppliers of special/strategic products, including those used as ingredients for formulations.
- Draft purchase preliminaries for special/strategic products for contract or spot resale.
- Manage relevant products in SAP.
- Qualify products at external laboratories with reference to specific oilfield standards, and draft supporting documentation (specifications, MSDS, etc.).
- Draft purchase/sale, licensing and NDA contracts.
- Handle logistics for the correct management of products through to final destination.
- Support the Tender Response Team in preparing product costs and related documentation, and support invoicing activities for the competent functions.
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Economics; other qualifications may be considered with significant relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of experience.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Availability for national and international travel.
