About the Role
NES Fircroft is urgently seeking a BMS (Building Management System) System Engineer for a long-term, yearly-extendable contract role in the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi/Ajman). The role covers BMS, commissioning, testing, HVAC, and controls/automation work.
Responsibilities
- Deliver BMS, commissioning, testing, HVAC, and controls/automation engineering across building systems.
- Work with HVAC applications including chiller systems, air handling units, fan coil units, computer room air handlers, mechanical ventilation units, sanitary and plumbing, fire alarm, low voltage, and EPMS applications for medium/high voltage electrical systems, ATS, generator, UPS and other miscellaneous systems.
- Integrate building systems using protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, MQTT and IP infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in BMS, commissioning, testing, HVAC, or controls/automation.
- Schneider Electric EBO and AS-P system experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC applications and a clear understanding of building systems protocol integration (BACnet, Modbus, MQTT) and IP infrastructure.
- Flexible to travel.
