Wind Turbine Blade Technician - Vogelsdorf

Responsibilities

• Ensure wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance.
• Working as part of a team (at least 2–3 people), take responsibility for inspecting and repairing the rotor blades on wind turbines.
• Learn about the complex structure of rotor blades and their various components.
• Carry out modification work to improve turbine performance.
• Apply practical skills when working with laminating resins and composite materials.
• Document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, metalworking, mechanical and automotive engineering, building services engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.
• Specialist knowledge of epoxy resins, glass fibre, and carbon fibre.
• Ideally a qualification as a rope access technician per FISAT or IRATA.
• High level of safety awareness, particularly when working with hazardous substances.
• Ability to prepare and document technical reports independently.
• Willingness to travel within Germany during the week (back home at the weekend).
• Familiarity with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps; ideally experience with SAP.
• Driving licence, ideally class C1E.
• Very good German and good English skills.
