About the Role
Electro/Mechanical Technician role in Halliburton's Manufacturing & Supply Chain organization in Houston, TX. The technician independently solves routine and moderately complex problems using pre-established guidelines, and carries out moderately complex analytical processes. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, the position may be filled at the Senior or Principal Electro/Mechanical Technician level.
Responsibilities
- Independently solve routine and some moderately complex problems using pre-established guidelines and plans, and carry out moderately complex analytical processes.
- Demonstrate skills in more than one process or analytical procedure.
- Work under general to occasional supervision over work product or procedure, with continued direct supervision over new tasks or processes.
- Perform a whole test routine or process.
- Assist in recommending design or modification of analytical processes, equipment, or procedures.
- Travel may be required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Skills typically acquired through 2–3 years working in a technician capacity or through formal training equivalent to an associate's degree.
- Candidates whose qualifications exceed the minimum will be considered for higher-level roles based on experience, additional job requirements, and/or business needs (Senior or Principal Electro/Mechanical Technician).
