About the Role

Eni is hiring a Maintenance Activities Expert in Rome, Italy, joining Eni Industrial Evolution (EIE) — the Eni company dedicated to developing innovative and transformative projects within traditional industrial assets such as refineries, regenerating them according to circular economy principles. Within investment initiatives and extraordinary plant maintenance, you will be responsible for gathering site needs in coordination with other company functions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform project management activities such as project engineering manager, project controller, etc.
  • Coordinate company functions to gather site needs and translate them into investment or extraordinary maintenance proposals for the drafting of the site business plan.
  • Coordinate engineering companies from a technical and economic point of view for the definition of project feasibility studies and subsequent detailed engineering.
  • Coordinate with company functions (Inspections, Asset Integrity, HSE, Operations, etc.) for the development and implementation of projects and the framing and management of changes.
  • Prepare project budget opening requests (RAP).
  • Manage orders, monitoring progress, deadlines, and compliance with instructions received, evaluating deviations and proposing corrective actions.
  • Manage procurement planning by issuing orders for the assignment of work to contracted (odc) and non-contracted (oda) companies.
  • Follow the management of external resources responsible for carrying out professional services within the projects.
  • Support HSE studies and assessments (NAR, HAZOP; excavation and land management plans; characterization analyses).

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in an engineering field, preferably Mechanical Engineering; lower or different qualifications may be considered with significant demonstrated experience in the role.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the role.
  • Knowledge of the main IT systems (Office Package, SAP).
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
  • Availability to travel to Florence and Ortona.
