Blades Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor activities related to blade maintenance processes.
• Inspect and assess the operational level of the assessed blades.
• Perform administrative work, tracking hours, working conditions, and operational reporting.
• Act according to safety rules and quality procedures related to blade maintenance activities — from awareness through the audit process — to ensure service level agreements and compliance with regulatory procedures.
• Know the blade repair processes, assess the complexity of the repair, and carry out on-site repairs with technical expertise and internal maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• BTEC Higher National Diploma, BTS/DUT industrial, or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, certified by BZEE certification if possible.
• A degree or first professional experience as a composite material technician and/or wind turbine maintenance technician.
• Knowledge of technical English (written/spoken) and familiarity with the Office Pack.
• Experience working with composite materials.
• Wind turbine experience as a Service or Construction technician (Vestas or non-Vestas turbines).
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights over 100 meters.
• Comfortable working remotely in a turbine as part of a team with limited supervisory interaction.
