Engineering Specialist - Customer Project Engineering

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control panels and electrical cabinets for the Bently Nevada vibration monitoring systems in accordance with IEC/UL or equivalent international standards
• Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, panel GA drawings, and develop ordering drawings
• Follow quality procedures and standard design processes to ensure defect-free designs in a timely manner
• Coordinate with project engineers, vendors, and suppliers for technical clarifications, component approvals, and documentation
• Interface directly with clients to address technical queries and design clarifications
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and design records
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting quality, cost, and schedule requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics engineering or equivalent
• Experience in relevant industry including hardware engineering for automation / electrical control panels
• Strong experience in cabinet and panel design for industrial applications in compliance with international standards
• Experience using CAD, E-Plan, MicroStation software to create, revise, and review project drawings (System Interconnect, Power wiring, Layout drawings, Loop drawings, blocks, etc.)
• Ability and willingness to travel for site surveys
• Self-starter with minimal supervision requirement; able to work independently; ability to prioritize, organize work, and meet deadlines
