About the Role

Join Baker Hughes' Subsea Production Systems team within the Oilfield Equipment business, which provides intelligent, connected technologies to monitor and control energy extraction assets. The Master Scheduler will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials from suppliers and within departments according to production schedules, planning and scheduling all material and production needs for the Nailsea site while working in a cross-functional team and taking ownership of planning processes.

Responsibilities

Manage master planning, material processes and systems; prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs; and optimize inventory and process improvements.
Drive the S&OP process including workload and capacity analysis.
Manage production slot plans and dates for both manufactured components and bought-out finished items.
Drive ownership of the plan and ensure executability until handover to execution.
Redefine processes and procedures on a regular basis, requiring frequent interaction with adjacent functions (e.g. engineering, planning, maintenance).
Handle latitude in manufacturing techniques, choosing the right approaches with the required technical know-how.

Qualifications

Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in a relevant subject.
Possess demonstrable experience of working in a materials planning capacity in an electro-mechanical environment.
Be willing to take ownership of processes, innovating where possible and leading by example.
