Flushing Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute piping system flushing procedures in accordance with project specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements; document results and maintain cleanliness records.
• Perform pneumatic and functional testing of piping systems; identify and correct leaks, deficiencies, or non-conformances.
• Maintain accurate work records including time sheets, material logs, and inspection documentation.
• Follow all RCS, LLC HSE policies and shipyard safety protocols; participate in toolbox talks and safety observations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Project Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; vocational/technical training in pipefitting or plumbing a plus.
• Experience in marine piping, shipyard piping, or industrial work environments is a plus.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Preferred: experience on U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, or other military vessel programs.
• Preferred: knowledge of MIL-STD-1330 (flushing requirements) and NAVSEA technical standards.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted; ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in extreme temperatures; prolonged standing, kneeling, bending, climbing stairs/ladders and working from elevated platforms or scaffolding; use of PPE including respirators, safety harnesses, hearing protection, and hard hat required.
