Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of the company's business systems, processes and controls, including policies and procedures, relative to the assigned location and department.
• Demonstrate understanding of the organizational structure and core businesses of the company and industry.
• Perform activities involving complex accounting reports and analyses with related spreadsheets and applications input.
• Prepare and post journal vouchers for complex accounting transactions.
• Review and monitor financial transactions for accuracy and timeliness.
• Research and resolve complex accounting issues and transactions, including related internal controls.
• Prepare, analyze and distribute financial results, including variance explanations.
• Participate in multi-functional teams and develop project management skills.
• Demonstrate knowledge in moderately complex aspects of general accounting, internal controls, company policy, financial analysis and reporting, forecasting and financial applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting-related roles required.
• Completion of an undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
• Knowledge of US GAAP or country-specific accounting principles required.
