About the Role
Under general supervision, the Contract Recruiter supports the full-cycle recruitment process for multiple client groups across the organization at Halliburton's Houston main campus (onsite). The role manages a high-volume requisition load while serving as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for multiple business units and support functions.
- Ability to manage and handle a large workload while meeting established service level expectations and hiring goals.
- Partner strategically with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop recruiting strategies, and provide market insights.
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to gather position requirements, establish recruitment plans, and align on candidate profiles.
- Source, review, screen, and qualify candidates against job qualifications and business requirements.
- Conduct phone and virtual screenings to evaluate candidate experience, skills, and overall fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and interview teams.
- Manage candidate communications throughout the recruiting lifecycle, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools to maintain accurate candidate records and requisition activity.
- Provide regular updates and consultative guidance to hiring managers regarding candidate pipelines, market conditions, and recruitment progress.
- Support offer development, candidate negotiations, and onboarding coordination as needed.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, employment laws, and recruitment procedures.
- Assist with recruiting projects, process improvements, reporting, and talent acquisition initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, HR, or staffing experience.
- Experience supporting multiple hiring managers and managing numerous open requisitions simultaneously.
- Strong resume review and candidate assessment skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Preferred: experience recruiting for corporate, professional, technical, engineering, supply chain, finance, or operations roles; experience in a high-volume corporate recruiting environment; knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices; ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers and business leaders; strong consultative and customer-service mindset; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills; ability to adapt quickly to changing business priorities and staffing demands.
