About the Role
Project Management Specialist role on the Baker Hughes Valves team. You will fulfill customer needs according to agreed parameters to ensure customer satisfaction, develop an operational annual plan using timelines agreed with the customer, and play an integral role in improving products, processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer projects for a non-supervisory role (wing-to-wing process management).
- Develop an operational annual plan for the department's activities and suggest improvements in products, processes and procedures.
- Work on the basis of predefined contracts and frameworks, with some latitude to deviate from those conditions.
- Receive and check commercial order clearance from the customer, clarify the order via meetings, and finish order loading in the ERP system.
- Load orders into the milestone system, monitor order progress, and report to the customer.
- Coordinate witness requests and shipment arrangements and prepare sales reports for booking and shipment plans.
- Handle project and customer documents, manage customer milestone payments, resolve disputes, and collect AR on time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Mechanical Engineering, Business English/International Trade, or similar.
- Valves Project Management experience; familiarity with Customer Project Management; Nuclear Industry experience is an advantage.
- Sound oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
- Ability to plan and control workload in a fast-moving environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP.
- A successful team player able to work independently with excellent problem-solving skills.
