About the Role
Baker Hughes is hiring a Service Delivery Coordinator to join its Pressure Pumping team in Muscat, Oman. As a Service Delivery Coordinator, you will own end-to-end delivery of assigned contracts and quotes — coordinating job cycle management across organizational boundaries, safeguarding revenue, and developing the field team. The Baker Hughes internal title for this role is Services Advisor - Service Delivery Coordination.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all activities are carried out according to the company's core values, non-negotiables, and cultural pillars.
- Ensure the assigned contracts/quotes are fully understood and capitalized upon.
- Coordinate and monitor all job activities as outlined in job cycle management across organizational boundaries.
- Review job planning, equipment preparation, and people readiness.
- Work with I&S Project Managers and/or other PLs' SDCs on cross-PL critical tasks within a job.
- Prompt escalation of issues that can impact service delivery.
- Ensure invoicing is in line with contract/quote, with no revenue leakage and timely collection of cash.
- Coordinate with field crews to manage any requirements/mobilizations during the job at the customer well site/location.
- Develop the team in line with competency and training programs for their respective positions as well as future career plans.
- Assist other Service Delivery Coordinators with Peer Reviews.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and ISO and API requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant, related subject.
- More than 10 years of experience in oil field services.
- Previous technical experience in the Coil Tubing field.
- Demonstrated prior business ownership (HSE, financial, service delivery).
- Demonstrated experience of leadership, mentoring, and developing teams in a global matrix environment.
- A motivated self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to lead and solve problems.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence others and lead teams.
- Experience in the Middle East.
